My name is Kelsie and I am a registered dietitian and a die-hard foodie, but mostly I’m a mom. I read cooking magazines like novels and I love to experiment with new recipes. In addition to loving food, I also happen to adore this man, my biggest fan and my husband of the past 10+ years. This guy literally used to forget to eat (such a mystery to me!) before we met but somehow I managed to convert him into the full-fledged foodie he is today.
As a mother of three littles, I never seem to have enough
appendages to do it all, but I am passionate about teaching my family and those
around me to eat well, stay active and to nourish their bodies, spiritually,
physically and emotionally. My life is crazy and chaotic most of the time but also
filled with oh so much beauty and blessing. I have a LOT of words, and I feel
ALL of the feelings (you sensitive types know what I mean!) and have
experienced great joy in processing this life I live in writing. I would love
it if you joined me on the journey!
On
my blog you will find a whole lot of musings: my heart and soul, thoughts on
mothering, big and little happenings, my inner wrestlings, advice on feeding
kiddos from my professional life, and definitely some delicious recipes to cook
for dinner. In my spare time when I’m not feeding my flock, you’ll find me out
running or attempting to grow food in my garden.
